Hay varios casos en donde un Nombre de Dominio NO PUEDE ser transferido a otro Registrar. Esto puede ocurrir en las siguientes circunstancias:

(a) El Nombre de Dominio tiene menos de 60 días desde que fuera creado - Si el dominio que usted esta tratando de transferir es menor a 60 días de edad, el requerimiento será rechazado por el mismo Registro. Los Nombre de Dominios menores a 60 días de edad no pueden ser transferidos a otro registrar por una regla impuesta por ICANN.

(b) El Nombre de Dominio tiene menos de 60 días desde que fuera transferido - Si usted ha transferido su nombre de dominio en un lapso no mayor aún a 60 días, ese nombre de dominio no puede ser transferido aún hasta que se cumpla un período de 60 días. Una exepción a esta regla es transferir hacia atras nuevamente el dominio, es decir al previo Registrar, en aquellos casos en que ambos Registrar se pongan de acuerdo para ello/o donde una decisión en la resolución de la disputa An exception to this rule is the transfer back to the previous Registrar in cases where both Registrars so agree and/or where a decision in the dispute resolution process so directs.

(c) You have Locked your Domain Name - If you have Locked your Domain Name from the Control Panel provided by the current Registrar, then a Transfer Request for that Domain Name will not be allowed. You will first have to unlock the Name from the Control Panel and then proceed with a Transfer Request.

(d) Your Registrar has applied a Lock or Hold on your Domain Name - If the current Registrar has applied a Lock or Hold on the domain name due to some pending issue, you would be advised to get in touch with their (current Registrar's) Support Team to resolve this issue, before applying for a transfer.
